Events Charging From Common Good - Letter to Councillors

NWSCC is concerned that there is a risk to the continuation of important and established local events through charges being imposed by the local authority, Nairn Common Good and other organisations. Occasioned by a recent Facebook post on charges requested for use of the Bandstand for the 'ex-pats' stall at Nairn Games, NWSCC has sent a letter to Nairn's Councillors seeking clarification of the policy of charging and proposing, in principle, the waiving of charges for use by voluntary groups for community recreation.
