GREAT NEWS - THE DEADLINE TO REPOSND TO THE CONSULTATION HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO 9TH SEPTEMBER
NWSCC has serendipitously become aware that Highland Council has launched a community engagement exercise to get feedback on how local funding should be prioritised and suggestions on the types of projects that might be developed. There is a decicated section for feedback on Nairnshire and the survey is broken up undder four themes: People; Place; Economy and Environment.
The consultation is open until 31 August and can be accessed here - the Council states it should not take more than 10 minutes to complete.
NWSCC always welcomes the opportunty for community groups and residents to have a say on matters that impact our community; high levels of public engagement will encourage Highland Council to continue an inclusive approach to decision-making. There may not be a huge pot of allocated funds and many diverse views on how the spend should be prioritised but do take the time to have your say!
