Letter of Complaint on Harbour Permits and Motorhome Parking

Further to the public attention drawn to the Harbour Street parking permit scheme (link to Inverness Courier article here), NWSCC submitted a formal complaint to the Chief Executive and Head of Legal Services of The Highland Council requesting that the permit spaces and also provision for motorhome overnight paid parking are removed. It was a surprise to receive a response from the head of the department complained about, which is considered wholly insufficient and inaccurate in points made, link to letter here . NWSCC intends to send a further letter directly to the head of Legal Services to reinforce the arguments and make sure this matter is considered by the appropriate department.
