See commitments from Nairn's Highland Councillors to initiating a Local Place Plan for Nairn (Item 5) and enhanced oversight of Nairn's Common Good Fund (Item 7)
CC member Joan Noble has been successful in getting Highland Council to refund Nairn Common Good for parking income that was improperly 'top-sliced' and continues to challenge the Council over the confusing and controversial motorhome and harbour permit parking spaces (Item 8)
The CC is keeping a close eye on the new Academy project as the next pre-planning concultation takes place and will continue to strongly object to the relocation of the library (Item 9)
On the back of the publicity over the Games Pipe Band route levy, the CC is concerned at increased bureaucracy and costs impacting important local events and will seek to help minimise barriers to their continued success (Item 10)
